Braga - The city of a thousand years, formerly known as Bracara Augusta when the Roman Empire ruled this region of Portugal. It is the bubbly center of the Minho province. This city has been standing for more than a thousand years, it's origins can be traced back to the Megalithic era. The Roman empire gave it the name of Bracara Augusta back in 20 B.C. and the curret name pays homage to the former.
